These terms govern your use of Yaw Terminal ("Yaw," "the Software") and the yaw.sh website ("the Website"), operated by Yaw Labs ("we," "us," "our"). By downloading, installing, or using Yaw, you agree to these terms.
Yaw is free to download and use. All features are fully functional without a license. An optional paid license removes the registration reminder and supports continued development.
A one-time purchase of $29 grants a perpetual, non-exclusive license to use Yaw on unlimited personal devices. This license is non-transferable.
Business licenses are available for commercial use on a per-seat, annual subscription basis. Each seat permits use on one device. Business licenses include access to team features (shared connections, snippets, and runbooks). Pricing:
Business licenses require periodic validation (every 72 hours, with a 7-day grace period if the validation server is unreachable).
Payments are processed by Lemonsqueezy, which acts as the merchant of record. Lemonsqueezy handles all billing, payment processing, sales tax, and VAT. By making a purchase, you also agree to Lemonsqueezy's terms of service.
Refund requests can be made within 30 days of purchase by contacting contact@yaw.sh.

Yaw, its code, design, and branding are the property of Yaw Labs. These terms do not grant you any ownership rights in the Software. Your data, credentials, and configurations remain yours.
Yaw integrates with third-party services (AI providers, Tailscale, SSH servers, databases) at your direction. We are not responsible for the availability, security, or terms of any third-party service. Your use of those services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies.
Yaw is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Software will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Yaw Labs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or use, arising out of or related to your use of the Software, regardless of the cause of action or the theory of liability.
Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms or your use of Yaw shall not exceed the amount you paid for your license in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $29, whichever is greater.
You may stop using Yaw at any time by uninstalling it. We may terminate or suspend your license if you violate these terms. Upon termination, the license grant ends but your locally stored data remains yours.
We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of Yaw after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
